Will Smith Sees Good In Everyone

But wasn't Smith just using an extreme example to say that there is good in everyone, and that the most evil person may think he or she is not evil at all because of perverse, twisted thinking? And does the most evil, twisted human being have a shred of goodness that we should strive to recognize?
